Cute and fun illustration of a genie wearing a black tshirt saying 'Laid Back Friday'. He has his arms behind his head, is wearing a flower garland around his neck and has a piece of wheat between his teeth. He's also wearing sunglasses and a red fez. A speech bubble is next to him saying 'Banish Black Friday Sales Stress'

BT's Black Friday deals have been announced. However, this year, Broadband Genie is doing things a little different. We would rather not add to the Black Friday stress. Instead, we're going for a 'Laid-Back Friday'.

We haven't just copied and pasted BT's Black Friday Deals. Only genuinely great promotions are given a 'Laid-Back Friday' label. To qualify, it has to be one of the best offers we've seen all year. We want to help you save this Laid-Back Friday - not spend more money!

Switching to BT Broadband

There's never been a better time to switch broadband. As well as being able to make use of these amazing Laid-Back Friday offers, the process is now quicker and easier than ever.

'One-Touch Switch' rolled out in September, meaning customers don’t even have to contact their old provider to cancel any more. The whole switch process will be led by your new provider - it'll tell your existing provider you're leaving, so once you've completed the checkout you can kick back and relax.

Find your perfect deal and start the process by clicking on the 'get deal' button.

Here's a quick round-up of BT's top Laid-Back Friday deals. But there's plenty more to discover!

Frequently Asked Questions about Black Friday and BT deals

  • How do I get these deals?

To get one of these deals, you only need to click the link and follow the instructions on the provider’s site.

You can also enter an address into the checker on any of our broadband deal comparison pages to see whether an offer is available first.

  • What are Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Black Friday is an American import. The first Friday after Thanksgiving is the start of the U.S. Christmas shopping period and a day when retailers offer deep discounts.

It’s only recently become popular elsewhere, thanks to online stores like Amazon that have started offering Black Friday deals around the world.

Cyber Monday is a more recent invention that began as a push to promote online shopping at a time when it was less commonplace.

  • When are Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2024?

Black Friday 2024 is on the 29th November. Cyber Monday 2024 is on the 2nd December.

  • Is Black Friday and Cyber Monday the best time to get a broadband deal?

While Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals can be good value, you’ll find there’s no shortage of special offers at this time of the year. Between Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year, there's always an enormous choice of deals. If you don’t see anything you really like right now, wait for the next one.

Whatever deal you’re considering, always add up the total cost of the package over the length of the contract and compare it to what you’re paying now. And always make a note of the contract end date. That way, you can look for another great deal when that offer expires.
