About toob broadband deals
If you want fast broadband without high monthly costs, toob is a great option.
toob delivers full fibre broadband to select areas across the UK, with prices starting from just £22 a month – and no in-contract price hikes. That’s difficult to beat, especially with many well-known providers raising prices each year.
We were so impressed with this, we crowned it the winner of our ‘Best Value for Money’ category in our 2024 Broadband Awards.
toob packages and average speeds
toob is currently available in select locations across the UK. Locations served include parts of Bedfordshire, Derbyshire, Dorset, East Sussex and Suffolk. You can check the coverage map and installation status updates for future rollouts on the toob.co.uk website.
Keeping things simple, there are currently only two full fibre broadband packages (FTTP) on an 18-month contract:
- home150 – Average speeds of 150Mb for downloads and uploads
- home900 – Average speeds of 900Mb for downloads and uploads
Meanwhile, if you’re after more flexibility and don’t want to commit to a long term, you can also sign up to a rolling monthly contract (900Mb download/upload speeds).
All deals come with free installation and offer a symmetrical download / upload service.
Both standard toob home broadband deals will be suitable for larger homes, with home900 offering more reliable broadband for busier homes or those who carry out data-intensive tasks.

Real-life results look good, too. In its ‘Fixed Broadband Experience’ report, published in December 2024, Opensignal included toob as joint winners in all four categories in the South East. This included: Consistent Quality, Download Speed, Upload Speed, Video Experience and Reliability Experience.
What router do you get with toob?
New customers signing up for a toob package will receive a Linksys MX5600 router.
You can customise the router using the Linksys app – handy for setting up guest Wi-Fi and more.
toob also plans to offer Wi-Fi boosters in the near future to help improve signal throughout your home, although it does recommend to customers hard-wire devices via an Ethernet port for the fastest broadband speeds.
Does toob offer home phone packages?
No, toob doesn’t offer call packages with its broadband. If you’d like to keep a landline phone, it recommends signing up to its partner, Vonage, for access to VoIP calls.

Does toob offer broadband and TV bundles?
No, toob doesn’t offer TV bundles. If you want access to premium channels, you’ll need a separate TV service, like NOW TV.

Is toob available on a social tariff?
toob essentials is a £20 a month social tariff that offers 50Mb full fibre speeds – ideal for basic browsing and streaming. It’s available to new or existing customers receiving either of these government benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Pension Credit
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support

Will toob raise its prices mid-contract?
Unlike many providers who hike their deals up annually for their broadband services, there will be no in-contract price rises on toob packages.

Which network does toob use?
toob uses a mix of its own broadband network, but also delivers some home900 packages using the CityFibre network.

Can I get toob in my area?
You can check the availability of toob in your area by entering your postcode into Broadband Genie’s deals checker. Once you’ve added your address, you’ll only see toob deals if you have access to its network at home.

Do you need a landline with toob broadband?
No. All toob deals are full fibre and don’t use a traditional landline.

How long are toob contracts?
toob deals are available on an 18-month contract, although a rolling monthly contract is also available, with speeds up to 900Mb.

Are there any special offers with toob?
toob doesn’t often appear on our Free Gifts page, but you can still earn a £25 voucher through its referral scheme. Recommend a friend to the 900Mb, 18-month package and, once they’re up and running, you’ll get a reward to spend at Amazon, John Lewis or Marks & Spencer.

Can I get a static IP with toob?
Yes. But this is only available to customers signed up to the home900 package. The cost is an extra £8 per month, and this add-on is on a separate rolling monthly contract.
