Is SSE broadband down?

If you’ve lost connectivity, there can be various causes. It may be the equipment in your home, such as your phone line or broadband router. If it’s not that, it could be a wider issue with the network.

First, you should try rebooting your computer or other devices. If that doesn’t work, then try rebooting the Wi-Fi router. If you still don’t have a connection, it may be a network problem.

Check out Downdetector. This is a third-party outage tracking tool, to see if there’s a reported problem with Origin broadband.

If you can’t see any report of a network issue, you should contact support. However, if there's a network problem, you’ll have to wait for it to be fixed. Phoning customer services won’t make any difference.

For more help with internet problems, you can read our guide to troubleshooting broadband.
