This is a scam company, they deserve minus 5 stars. Avoid at all costs. I wish I had read the reviews before I contacted them. They offered quick installation, set up a direct debit, but then they cancelled that installation without telling me, just simply never turned up. I enquired why, they took ages to reply and then had no answer, and they couldn't give me a new installation date either. After a month of no service I cancelled my request. The following day they gave me another installation date that was another month ahead, so for 8 weeks I had no service and no guarantee they would turn up to install it on the new date in four weeks time. So, I cancelled due to the fact that they could not provide any service for at least 8 weeks, their agreement was to do so within three.
I was not advised of any termination fees when I cancelled. Then the bills started, they wanted early termination fees, line rental for three months service they failed to supply, transfer fees from my old service at my old address which I had cancelled two months previous and never requested a transfer for!. They will not deal with complaints other than by phone, so you have no confirmation of what is agreed. Then they sent more bills with threats of late payment fees when on the phone they have offered compensation and promised you will not be charged for services not received. If you call you just get transferred to other departments and then cut off. They add late payment fees to any bills you don't pay whilst you are trying to resolve the issue and they continually harass you with threatening emails for a service they failed to provide and which was cancelled by them. Anything they say on the phone is lies, they are, by far, the worst company I have had had the misfortune of dealing with. A complete set up to trap people into paying for services they fail to supply and add fees they were not made aware of. I never saw, nor was read any contract, yet all they do is quote their contract at you, even admitting that they have failed to meet it, promise no fees are due, refunds are to be given etc.. but still harass, threaten and bill you. A complete scam.

Worst company I have ever experienced. Constant dropouts, poor speeds and if you every dare to leave they will deliberately delay the transfer so to charge you an extra month then harass you constantly if you dare question it. I even had their rep phone me up to have a go at me for leaving. Their accounts team have been harrassing me for 4 months over a disputed £20 which I refuse to pay them out of principle. They took the money from my account anyway so I had to get Barclays to refund it. They send me several mobile texts a week. This is a horrible company you have been warned.

After cancelling service over 6months ago and clearing more than the last bill, company continue to try take money and succeed in some cases, deleting stopping direct debit does not work ,getting a new card does not work! They set up new direct debits without permission, continue to take money months after service is cut off and cancelled. I've been with a new supplier since end of October but they continue. They say on reviews they will contact u and don't. This service is disgusting under no condition do u use them. Treat of court proceedings after all this I am now building my own case with enough evidence of cancellation and recorded calls, along with fraud charges with the bank against them.

After contract they will not say anything and don't take any money for begging but after 7 months they will take a lot for nothing!!! I moved out from UK agreement was over and they wanted to take almost 300£ I really wanna warning people! They don't reply my emails also!!! Bunch of harassing crooks. I've been representative for my friend agreed by ITalk. I've organised a new broadband company to take over her Tel line. I've spoken with their customer service agents on numerous occasions letting them know of our dissatisfaction. My friend (mam) is 82 years old. She lost her BB with another company. ITalk her Tel line supplier organised to take over her BB, gave a date and sent a router. One month later they ask her to send it back as "it was faulty", how they new it was faulty is beyond us as we never unboxed it or attempted to instal it. My mam was sent a communication which essential threatened her with paying for this box if it went missing so she paid recorded to send it back. ITalk still at this time, one month on said they were going to provide her BB service,they sent a bill for the agreed package which turned out to be over £125, still no BB. Eventually having spoken to a customer service rep he insured me a new router would be sent out that day. Two weeks later still no BB. Called again, eventually the customer assistant told me they had no intention to supply BB. You can imagine how annoyed we got but I kept my cool. We then took a deal with another supplier who agree to take over the telephone line and supply BB, great. Called ITalk again, informed them we were moving to a new supplier. All the while acting on mam's behalf. Several calls back and fourth to arrange a refund of the upfront payment which they are withholding until the line is taken over, so making a complaint now about the prepaid BB contract, ITalk tell me the package mam signed up for wasn't for BB and therefore isn't due a refund. They were steadfast telling me we never agreed to supply BB yet I told them that was crap as they'd originally sent out a box.
Lies lies lies, bullying tactics, all lies. Now today they called my mam with more miss information which is harassment. I will be contacting the relevant ombudsman.
DO NOT TAKE A PACKAGE WITH THESE CROOKS

I have to admit, I don’t know why so many people are down on this company. They are brilliant! For a start, they didn’t even waver in the first 10 days in which they said that it might! I’m nearly always on the internet. Especially watching films! I love watching films on the internet and there are no interruptions! They’re lovely to talk with, too! They’re a very reasonable price, as well! I could go on for ages. But I give them full marks! Oh! They’re better than other broadband providers I been with. I can’t fault them!

They hassle bully and threaten via any means they wish, with complete disregard for anybody or anything apart from their greed... even stooping as low as trying to threaten, bully and mislead customers by pretending that their instructed clients are a different entity from themselves. italk lie, miscalculate and endlessly harrass. After so much harassment and bullying tactics after I cancelled my direct debit and cancelled my account on July 2023 I was sent over 15 emails, 16 texts and 14 calls.Due to this I paid my account
I was charged £12.50 for late payment. I was then informed if any credit left would be returned to me, which would be 1-7th Sept. I had to phone them up on 12th Sept to enquire where my credit was? I got an apology as this had not been actioned.
What an absolute arse of a company, surprised they're still in business!

I'm my partner's appointee he's been with italk for over a year now they are the worst broadband company I have ever had to deal with the take advantage of vaunerble people who don't know much about these thing's. My partner pay's £21 for simple broadband apparently dats just for browsing and shopping so he can't watch his Smart TV with it only use his phone that already has unlimited data. They want him to upgrade to fibre for £25 even though there is a scheme for vaunerble people to pay £20pm for broadband conveniently italk don't do it. Smh they are quick to want to take your money but not care. He wants out of the 24 month contract but is stuck with something that is pointless kmt

Awful company. I am a social worker trying to support a vulnerable client. ITALK have taken hundreds of pounds of her money and I have spent literally hours on the phone to unhelpful and unkind advisors and this is still not resolved. Charges are still being applied, pushing this person further into debt and damaging her mental health. She is left without food and often gas and electric. I have never experienced such an unhelpful company.

Italk are an absolutely disgusting company, and seeing the comments here I’m glad I’m not the only one. They give an installation date nearly 4 weeks ahead, yet fail to tell you that the 14 day cooling off period is started from the day you take apply for broadband. I sent the box back the same day I got it. They then have the cheek to then add a balance which I’m not paying, I now have enlisted Communications & Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS) who are assisting me. Avoid this disgusting company at all costs !!!!!

Steer well clear, I be just left because they would raise the direct debt as they please without any warning.
I paid my last full month bill and ended their supply and cancelled direct debit, only for them to cut me off after 2 weeks and charged!!, me for cancelling direct debt.
Staff are rude and uncooperative, I would receive up to 6 calls a day from them and e mails and texts. I had to block them on my phone in the end as it got into harassment their side, I haven’t delt with such an unprofessional company ever as this.

I've been with Italk for 3or4 months and my service has gone of 3 or four times usually at weekends and for between an hour and 5 to 6 hours, until last Sunday 07/05/23 8am I found that the broadband was off, so I phoned Italk and the office was closed.
The service was off all day Sunday and was still off on Bank Holiday Monday 08/05/23 so I phoned the office again and got through to customer services and spoke to a lady who went through a few tests and checks with me,Until she came to the last test,when she asked me if I had a micro filter to plug into the phone line socket, as I didn't have one she said they would send me one and when it arrived to phone back and they could do the last test so if it still didn't fix the problem they could raise a fault on there system to send out an engineer.
Well the micro filter arrived on the Thursday, so that evening when I got home I plugged the micro filter in and my Broadband service came back on, so by then my service had been off for five whole days.
On Friday afternoon I phoned I talk and told them the filter had worked and asked about a reduction on my bil for the 5 days I had no service, to be told that because the last test hadn't been done until I got the filter, no fault had logged so they could not compensate me for the 5 days I was without service. Which I think is a very poor service.

My elder friend is italk customer (she asked me to post this review). Her service is unreliable, even thought she lives in a city. She's an older vulnerable person who relies on her broadband to attend doctor's appointments and keep in touch with family as she struggles to move around. After many, many phonecalls (she insists on calling herself despite many offers from myself - I'm a qualified specialist and CAN determine whether the issue is due to the problems with hardware or 'not having fibre optic connection') to sort this issue out she has been called childish, told to take a pacifier out of her mouth and to get lost. Such a level of customer service is unacceptable and downright humiliating. Steer clear of them if you can help it.

The Hub they provide is a horribly antiquated zyxel model from the early 2000s, it is physically not capable of speeds over 20 megabits. That's not an opinion, the technology within it cannot exceed 20 megabits, that is exceptionally slow for this decade, or last decade to be honest, pathetic service, do not buy.

If I could review this with NO stars then I would! AVOID this broadband at all costs. Since setting up it’s been nothing but problems with the connection dropping completely, they always take random amounts of money from my account even though the internet NEVER WORKS!!! I also asked to cancel the broadband and pay the cancellation fee and was told I’m not able to do so until the contract is up!! I refused to pay a late fee because I have NEVER paid the bill late and not this has resorted to the bill going up and up each week, with a total of £180. I have agreed to set a payment plan up months ago to clean what I owed which was originally around £50. They refused and demanded FULL payment!! This is the worst company I have ever come across In my life. And by reading the reviews everybody has the same review!! Shocking total rip off company need reporting

As soon as the hub was installed we started having issues with the speed, and the hub reset itself repeatedly. An engineer found a fault which italk then charged me for even though they only charge when no fault is found. They took £20 but put £150 credit on my account after I got passed to multiple departments and finally made a formal complaint and threatened to sue them. They also reduced my bill by £5 per month. This was to see Me through to the end of my contract in Dec. 2022 as stated by italk themselves. However, as my term was coming to an end they decided to increase my bill without notification and consent, and increase the monthly amount and then tried to take more money from me saying we owed for phone calls which they refused to give an itemised bill for even though it was requested. Whereas if the agreed fixed contract remained and the credit with the £5.00 discount was considered they would in fact owe me money. They are happy to talk over the phone but they won't put anything in writing (good job I record my telephone calls). The speeds they promised never came to fruition, overall in my experience the company comes across as a money making scam and it seems customer service are happy to bully for payment but not serve you or answer any questions. Regardless of what their reviews maybe on trust pilot I don't and won't trust them again and my personal experience has been awful.

I took out broadband with italk which turned out to be a huge mistake, speeds were not existent, customer service absolutely horrendous, steal money from your account so I left them, now 3 years later and they still keep setting up direct debits on my account for different amounts ranging from £2.00 to £1⁰0 which just get cancelled straight away.
Really do avoid this company if you know what s good for you, I would rather go with no Internet than use this rip off company.

What a dreadful bunch these are. I cancelled my direct debit as I didnt have enough to meet the payment that month and they have constantly bombarded me with texts and emails sometimes up to 8 a day. So fsar this morning in 10 minutes I have had 4. I asked them to change the payment date they told me no they cant do that. I ve left them but when they knew I was leaving someone rang me to tell me I coudlnt do that there was still 14 days left on the contract and funnily enough offered to change my payment date. I told them no way was I staying and he got threatening then saying that I would owe them a cancellation fee of £200 my answer to that was good luck getting it. Also my broadband increased from 19.99 to £30 - a ridiculous price and it doesnt even work upstairs in my house did they care - NO

I was called while at work with the NHS by a very pushy salesman who would not shut up even though I kept saying it was not convenient as I was working and could not have a conversation In the end I just put the phone down which I don't like doing but had to as he would not stop talking, would have been better if he was polite enough to ask if it was convenient to talk or when would be a good time? An early exit fee to leave them , service went live and never had any broadband what so ever for 3 months , rang them countless times if you miss their call back from fault dept they remove it from their system so they don’t have to pay compensation even though the fault existed for 3 months , when that have done this you have to go right back to plugging in to test socket on your phone which I had to do several times I even left work early and had a call back booked with a manager so I lost half a days pay and they never phoned me as was booked earlier in the day , I waited for a few days and then I rang them back and started process all over again , I wasted hours on the phone trying to get it resolved and countless times it was never resolved, they even wonted to charge me £65 pound if I never returned the router , which is still in my cupboard been waiting over two months for them to send pre paid envelope so I can return it , my guess is the router will end up in bin as they even talked to get it posted back to them ,
They are also not registered with ofcom , but with someone else,I eventually got £37 compensation their first offer was £4 and a few pence , again took several hours of phone calls to get that they admitted they could see I had not a single moment of broad band from them in 3 months but still wonted paying £70 pound for the months which they never provided me with any broadband, in the finish I got their early exit fee dropped from £180 down to £65 so in the finish I ended up having to pay them £115 to exit early from contract when they never provided the service they was supposed to , I told them it was like stealing money getting paid for providing no service what so ever for 3 months , the only thing they gave me was a lot of wasted time and stress . So pls do yourself a massive favour and look elsewhere for broadband may be stay with one of the big names but defo not Italk

I have never given this company my Debit Card details at all. Yet they have obtained them from somewhere and taken a subscription for £19.99 from my Debit Card. I have informed the Bank and am taking whatever action is needed. These people a have never seen my Debit Card but they have used the details to fraudulently obtain money, and we don't know how much more they will attempt to take. Been with italk since November. 9.95 a month for WiFi. They cut my internet service off 4 weeks ago and when I called they said I was up to date with payments and the problem was internat and I had to remove the back off my internet router and call them back. No legitimate company requires customers to mess with their electronic routers. So that was red flag number one. They then told me in order to see the problem they would have to send a service man to my property for £100 charge. I refused. I have paid my bulls up to date and had 4 weeks of service. Then to be cut off and told they want to charge me to find out why my internet isn't working. They have since tried to take £209 EACH DAY unauthorized.
Complete cowboys.

The telephone sales people are con men and will say absolutely anything for you to buy their broadband… they lied to me and claimed my download speed would be compatible and even faster than Netflix. They persuade and convince - all for them to have their pockets lined with (commission) at the end of the day for selling an awful product. For someone, like myself, who has no clue about figures and numbers - they took absolute pride in blagging my head with fake figures and implying they could provide excellence and efficiency for great value. It was a rarity when I could connect to the internet and then when I was able to I was given a Privacy warning from apple about the unsecured line of internet, long story short multiple of my online account details got leaked. On top of all this, they still continue to attempt to take money out of my account near enough EVERY DAY… ranging from £29.80, £32.15, £8.11, £81.98, £64.29, £47.03 and the list continues. I refuse to give this company a single penny since they cannot keep up with their guarantee of providing me with internet - money grabbing, scummy individuals who attempt (and succeed) at pulling the wool over your eyes (especially if you’re not tech savvy). I would NOT recommend to anyone. It is not worth the cheap price as you do not even get internet guaranteed. An utter joke. I will be reporting to watchdog.

Went for months without internet services, every time I would phone and state me and my family were without internet access they would suggest paying more money to get better services, so I did only to be no better off, but still taking money for services that they could not or would not provide. Try charging me for an engineer that did not come to my home as I set it up myself. Eventually I left and went with sky, that have been fantastic. I have had nothing but stress and constantly chasing me for money I do not owe and even to this day months later continue to attempt to take money from my bank account without my consent. Stay away from this company, unreasonable prices for services that you will not receive and illegal behaviour in charges and taking money without consent from your bank account constantly. They don't stick to the dates agreed and they have a very bad customer service and they always keep changing the go live date agreed and even the last go-live date which was today (it passed 5pm and it is not there yet and I'm still waiting for the broadband).
I called today to raise a complaint and told to record it and they said I've to wait to midnight and I asked to speak to a manager and they she is busy.
Below are the details:
1) The package was agreed and paid for on 19 July
2) When the package was sold it was confirmed by the italk representative on phone that the go-live date will be 03-Aug (15 calendar days after the sale date) if not earlier and that was the basis of the agreement.
3) Following that an email was sent to say that the go live date will be 03-09 August (this was not accepted by me the customer).
4) A week later another email was sent by italk to say that go live is now 10 August (this was not accepted by myself).
5) I called the customer service team and after 10min discussion I asked to talk to a manager and I was advised that no managers are available. I asked to talk with the customer complaint team and the representative cut-off the call.
6) I called again after an hour and talked with another customer representative and after an hour of discussion and him trying to chaeck and discuss the issue with his team internally, he told me that the go-live date that was sent to me is 17 Aug although the email below shows clearly that it is 03-09 August and this was not agreed at the point of sale which shows that italk is giving four go live dates 03 Aug, 03-09 Aug, 10 Aug & 17 Aug and it’s a complete mess.
7) I also asked for a customer complaint number and he said that they don’t operate this system and cannot give me a number.
8) The customer service advisor said that he’ll have further discussion to check why there is discrepancy and call me on the same day yesterday but this did not happen

italk is without a doubt the worst broadband company I have ever used, I was with them for 3 years and now i'm back to my previous provider, so I know.
Avoid them at all costs! The internet was always slow but up until Covid19 in 2020 I was rarely home so didn't mind - but I always made sure to report the faults, which were always meet with silly excuses such are poor weather (i'm talking rain in London). October- November 2020 was the worst, working from home was extremely difficult with their lines dropping every few minutes, sometimes for hours. December I didn't have any internet at all! I had to pay for a mobile hotspot upgrade and lost many days of work because of it. When I spoke to them about this they said they would refund for lost internet, my phone data, but they lied. The engineer they finally sent out for an inspection (first and only in 3 years of complaints) said there was nothing for him to fix and that the modem was faulty. Note, he had never heard of italk, lol. I called back and said I was done with not having any internet and would be cancelling as it didn't make sense to pay that month, let alone another month for no internet. They wanted to charge me for a new modem to be sent out and said they wouldn't be able to resolve the issue or pay me any compensation if I moved on. I must have been on the phone for a good hour asking to cancel, with the guy just asking me to pay for the new modem, he hung up on me and I cancelled the direct debit. Finally managed to cancel on the phone today (April 2021!), and not a penny compensation wise. Ridiculous.

I Don't recommend this broadband. Quite disappointedthat that at the beginning we've got promised a fast broadband and turns out that it is far too slow.+ 12 month contract. The internet does interrupt often with covid online lessons, especially wonderful (not)!! Thankfully hands down, it does not go off totally (that's why I give them 3 stars for the reliability). Also, contacted them few times about it. Customer service always good give them 5 stars for it. Sorry for this review but it's only fair for people to know.

Got to be the the arse of IP. After many calls 2 engineers called out, never even told me about second until i got a phone call on the morning the 2nd engineer called out, stating he would call between 1pm-6pm, i told the agent, don't bother i have signed up with someone else, but hey ho an egineer called at 10 and said he would be 20 mins, then was told to cancel with new provider which i already paid money to or i would be charged any costs, they cancelled from their end, when after 4 hrs the chap got the internet working, i went straight back to new provider and signed again, 2x money still waiting on refund on the first cancelled payment, they said they would refund for lost time/internet my phone data was all used up lol, joke, now because i'm leaving they cannot do this, and because i cancelled direct debit they charge you £10 lol, no i must pay final £19.99, well they say they will persue this, even when i got home from work landline rang, has not for yrs lol, i'm Scottish you know the answer i gave them lol, stay well clear folks, really terrible internet speeds 0.02 mb lol what a joke it is now 11.0 my new IP will be about 16.0, legalised thugs, especially when you leave. They have no techinal staff just call centre people reading from a scripted screen. Stay

Do not go with them. You will regret it. They tell you different things, The internet is super slow and when you cancel it and provide proof they tell you nonsense on the phone but don't actually do it. We have complained several times every time they tell you different things and after months not being with them they still charge you and on the phone says that is not even your last bill. We only been with them for 2 weeks and didn't receive the fast internet we paid for. You will be blocked from our credit card.

Please read this and don't make my mistake of joining them. If you have a fault you will be stuck, stressed and spending all your spare time phoning them up.
All phone companies use Openreach lines, and VM use their own lines, so whoever you go with will all use the same lines which produce same speeds. Go for a company who are very good at fixing faults because that is where this company is lacking.
-Had no WIFI for 15 days out of the 20 days I have been using their service.
-Had a seriously up and down connection during the 5 days it did 'work'
-Engineer did all he could over 1 wk ago, wifi still broken and said that it's on them to resolve the remaining issue
-They are closed weekends. Despite my connection going down Friday even when closed, was told they could only refund me for no WIFI from the day I reported the fault.
-They refuse to give me refund until the fault is fixed, so in meantime are taking full payments while I have to spend £25 on EE data to tether from
-despite having depression and severe physical health issues, paired with the fact I've been offline for over 2wks of the 20 days I've been online, they won't terminate me from the contract.
For those who want more details:
I've only been online with them for 20 days. After going live, the broadband has been so awful I've had absolutely no WIFI connection for 15 full days; even after an engineer was called out to have a look.
So, since going live on December 29th, the broadband has constantly disconnected, requiring me to lose pages/re-login for my work. This has had a negative impact on my work. On January the 31st the WLAN and DSL lights on router went blank. In other words, could not pick up on internet at all. As the offices were shut, I rang them on the 4th and explained the issue. I also asked if I could get a refund for the days it hasn't been working. The guy said I could only have a refund from the day I reported the fault. I explained they were shut, and I asked if they have a record of when I was online because obviously, it will show when my internet went down. Apparently they 'can't' see this, which is a joke. The engineer who came over on Jan 11th (yup, I had no connection for those 11/12 days), showed me a device with a graph detailing the drop outs/dates they happened. He explained that my provider can definitely see this too. So basically, they're either dishonest or completely ignorant. The engineer somewhat got it working again for about 2 days, but like before, internet consistently disconnected. He told me he did everything he could, but that it was up to the provider to sort out the issue on their end.
After finding the time I called them up on the 13th, to explain the fault was still there. However, the guy over the phone told me to switch router off for 30 min so he could do a test. I did, when I turned it back on the router had the same issue of no WLAN or DSL light. I phoned up to explain that it's suddenly unable to to pick up connection at all, even with plug directly into the line without the cover on (which is meant to be the best connection you can get). I was asked to do a speed test because the line supposedly had 'no faults'. I explained that I could not access the internet to carry out a test. Anyway, they just said they'd pass it to the fault team. I phoned up over the next couple of days to explain that I seriously need WIFI, I was advised to do a speed test again (absolute joke). So I've now been offline for an additional 5 full days. That's 16 days spent offline.
I asked to leave the contract without any fees since my mental health is seriously suffering. I have also spent £75 on EE add-ons to tether from my phone. I also asked for a refund for what I've paid the first time I had faults, but they told me to wait until the fault stopped happening so they could calculate. In the meantime they happily took the full bill out of my account.
Fortunately for them, the fault is still persistent, so they are continuing to receive my full payments, despite the fact I am having to pay for EE data to substitute the lack of WIFI.
In addition, when I joined the lady on phone was dishonest about how many weeks (3) it will take to install, knowing that I needed to be up and running by at least around 2 weeks. I could have gone with another provider if she actually told me about them taking 3 weeks after hearing my concerns.
Just an outright disgusting company.

Where do I start well I've rang italk up about moveing my services to a new address as I wanted to keep the broad band with them but unfortunately I was told they couldn't provide the services where I'm moving to so they told me I would have to pay an early termination fee as I'm still in contract with them but I stated that it was them that terminated the contract not me but they said I had to pay it as it's my fault so I cancelled my DD and only yesterday I noticed on my on line banking they set up a new DD with out my permission I've emailed them but no response from them iv informed my bank and notified the police and now they are looking in to it for me so there for any body thinking of going to italk I'd think twice as they are the worst company iv ever had any dealings with so good riddance italk mere again

Its laughable once i phoned up to say the internet is working but not the phone and a manager who i was talking to said she was suprised i had internet because on her side it showing as being down. There was never a period for a day where i could say i had full coverage after months of complaining and sending emails and being dealt with by 2 different manager its the worst providers. Dont get me wrong the customer service wasn't terrible just internet and phone service is diabolical. What upset me the most is i cancelled my service and they have the cheek to send it over to debt collectors saying i owe them

I thought i bagged a good deal with fast fibre broadband, but oh no,this is THE most incompetent broadband company.
Customer service staff are miserable and it really does come across they are working from home because some of them answer the phone like you've interrupted them.
Processing is a joke. Today i received a letter for £65 bill for early termination of contract. This transpired whilst in my cooling off period and their diabolical service, i was shopped around for another quote. I told iTalk they then offered me a good deal and rectified the issues.
I believed what i was told and subsequently cancelled the other service a month ago. iTalk then said they are UNABLE to cancel it their end so instead of dealing with the technical issue they have sent me a bill.
Logic? None
I phoned customer service twice today. Nobody can tell me the timescale for a call back.
As soon as my contract ends i shall NOT be renewing it with iTALK. I may well have to pay more to another provider but iTALK are driving me insane!!!

Luckily I am nearing the end of my contract and will avoid ever renewing it.I have never achieved more than half of the promised speed and upload speed most of the time is hardly registering.It is continually dropping out and almost unusable with an iPad.After hours of waiting to contact customer service the cost of trying to break the contract four months early was ridiculous and compared to other providers the cost of an alternative a faster service was to expensive..With what was promised when I initially signed up for this contract and what was supplied there is no way I would ever contemplate staying with them even if the price was acceptable.My main use was for very low for a security camera which is continually dropping out and then failing to reconnect because of the poor signal.

I’m paying £38 states £35 on their site but £38 when bill comes in! for ‘super fast fibre’ which is a load of crap, I have NEVER received their minimum, let alone what they advertise!! It’s up then down not reliable at all. So bad then it even cuts out on my Alexa when only playing a song!! Last time I’ve ever known it to buffer was probably about 20 years ago when I worked in publishing but at last then we was all connected to internet. Mine struggles with 2 Xbox consoles and 4 mobile phones (3 of which have there own unlimited data anyway) and an Alexa!! Complaint after complaint. As well as all the thing other reviews have complained about rather than repeat, same things also happened to me! Done tests, had openreach out, still awful!!
The customer service reps are not only miserable, but very rude and my god do they torment the living day lights out of you, call after call after call! Friday was a record for them two courtesy calls with in 20 mins of each other?? Then again this morning at 8am... why would anyone want a bloody courtesy call at 8am when your getting kids ready for school? Absolute joke! These nuisance calls a couple of weeks ago, where hitting 8-10 calls a day and they where the ones I answered!!
Another incident I’ve had was, I was 3 days late playing my bill which was due on a Friday on the Monday I called them up to pay on my card which I was told was £38 the payment went through then Tuesday morning they was chasing me again for a £10 late payment fee! I wasn’t disputing the late payment fee but for gods sake the next day, really? They tormented the life out of me! Never known a provider like them ever!
Sick to death of them to be honest it’s all the time now if it’s not one thing it’s another! If I’d of known then what I know now I would of never entered into a contract with them!

I feel very very sorry for anybody who makes the decision to go with i talk for their internet. To say I have been massively let down would be an understatement. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS DREADFUL COMPANY. I was a customer for almost a year when on Xmas day 2019 my internet went down. I then waited until the day after boxing day to report the problem when I knew the office would be open after the hols. I was advised to check various parts of the equipment to check for damage etc and to also replace the microfilter, which I did. This didn't resolve the problem. New year's Eve an engineer from openreach came out and replaced the line outside. He suspected the Reuter was possibly faulty. Still no internet. In the meantime I was revising for an exam and had no access to my online course. This went on for nearly a month, my kids also asking daily when we would have internet again. So, in pure frustration I made the decision to go with Virgin Media instead which has so far been very good. I'm now receiving constant communications from i talk chasing me for over £100. I wish they had contacted me as often when I was without a service. On checking my bank today I can see they have managed to take the money, despite cancelling direct debit and getting a new bank card to stop any payments being taken. For them to believe I owe them after having no internet for almost a month and over the Xmas period and all the hassle and phone calls I went through is a liberty. To say I am livid would be an understatement. They haven't a clue what they are doing. Stay well clear !

Do not use iTalk. My elderly parents recently moved to a different provider and have been daily harassed by members of the customer service team from iTalk, receiving several calls a day on their landline and mobile phones as they apparently owe 75p, even suggesting they would send in bailiffs. Although iTalk say on their website that their senior management team will deal with any issues, the advisers would not allow my parents to speak to anyone senior. Just the worst and intimidating customer service approach I have ever heard of.

After being with it all for over a year I decided to switch providers due to my connection frequently going off. When I tried to resolve this with the company I was told I needed to prove this by going onto a laptop even though they were able to tell me several dates that it failed from their computer. After informing them I was switching due to their failure I was told I would still have to pay for the service due to being in a contract with them.

Don’t waste any time with them because sure as hell they will waste yours...
All that’s going to happen is they will give you a dsl, but that’s all you’ll get. Aside from the bills and and the multiple problems that come with signing up with them.
You will get the dsl because once they get that going they count it as being connected or live and from that day on if not the months leading up to it will be a living hell.
P.s they put you live to enter you into a contract but you won’t get internet. Just a load of bills and a 150 quid call out fee only planned by them. And a disconnection fee for a connection you’ve never had.
I dare you go with Italk. It would be the worst mistake your life!!!

My mother has this provider. It's pretty good the only thing that is annoying is no engineers come out and you have to do it all yourself. I'm amazed no ones bothered to review this company.
