Once again without any kind of service, it's been 9 days now. I managed to speak to one person who informed me that a cable had been spliced but 'other'problems, unspecified,had been found in a box. Regular updates telling me nothing other than they are working hard to reconnect me. I had similar problems last winter, but after a period of stability I foolishly renewed my contract..... I will not be making that mistake again. When the system is working normally it performs reasonably well, although larger downloads from Xbox take forever with speeds dropping dramatically.

They made two appointments with me and both times they did not attend I was going to be a customer but not now

Had their fibre connection leas than 6 months. Patchy performance and complete outage 3 times. Technical support is not fit for purpose. Finally got an engineer booked to come out after being offline for nearly a week. He didn’t turn up, went to the wrong address! Run a mile from these clowns

We are actively looking to leave Airband. Theircustomer service and technical support has proved abysmal. We have been reporting connectivity issues since June and lost it completely at the beginning of September. That ticket was closed without our approval. I requested that ticket be re-opened but instead was presented with a fresh ticket on the 17th September when we lost connectivity completely. The receiver outside of our property appears to be dead. I have replaced the POE injector with a known good unit but no joy, a fact of which I made them aware. I as still fobbed off with "Our technical support are still investigating your issue" They would not be able to connect to us to resolve the issue. A lie presumably intended to cover the fact that they either have incompetant staff, not enough field engineers or both. We are still waiting for an engineer to come out to site. My wife is self employed and cannot take electronic payments and I as an IT support professional, am having my competance questioned due to not being able to work from home as needed to provide out of hours cover. To add insult to injury, they sent us an email asking us to recommend them for a reward of £200! Frankly, I wouldn't recommend them to our worst enemy.

Replaced BT with Airband a year or so ago. Since then, the connection has only been down once (BT was frequently failing). However, I pay for extra speed, 600MB, and rarely get over 90 Mb. Don't get me wrong, this is a huge improvement over the 30Mb I got with BT on copper but it's a long way from what I was expecting. To be honest, 100mb is plenty quick enough for my day to day usage. We can stream 4k UHD from Amazon, download huge virtual machine images in a few minutes. My only gripe is that I am paying extra - about £10 a month for 600Mb and not getting even the base 300Mb connection.

If I could give no stars I would.I've been left with no service - and therefore no phone as I have no mobile signal where I live - as a single woman with children I do not this acceptable asI am also rurally isolated. Took three weeks for engineer to visit - and they missed one appointment where I waited in 8am-6pm with no wifi or signal so I couldn't work. Useless customer services - they offered me two months free connection - but I stil HAVEN'T got a connection!!! So they offered nothing of nothing.

My site to site broadband is much better than my land line but suffers with regular drop-outs. When it works it's very good and speed is not an issue. For me reliability has always been my main priority.

First off the speeds were great and everything working fine, but the last 2/3 weeks have been a nightmare. Internet keeps dropping out every couple of hours then comes back on. Very unreliable. Have spoken to customer services and I’m waiting on the outcome. SKY couldn’t give me the speeds I needed so I decided to switch but at this moment in time I’m thinking it was a bad choice.

Shockingly bad service, spent the day waiting in for an engineer NOT to turn up,almost 3 weeks without service to date, akmostvas bad as BT, look carefully before signing a contract with this bunch, they WILL let you down!

Its fast, when it works, but when it doesn't you're in a whole heap of trouble. Their Contract states they have 5 days to restore your service and it can take DAYS for them to do that so make sure you have a 4G backup or something else. They also massively increase their proces, I'm just facing a 30% increase in Aug 24, but there is no alternative here so they have you over a barrel. We have whole communities being cut off for days. And don't expect any compensation - they are not signed up to the Ofcom automatic compensation scheme - very convenient for them!

Keeps buffering

I feel, with airband, we have gone back in time 15 years with internet access! Constantly dropping out, to the point that every time I look at my phone I am pleasantly surprised if I am connected to the WiFi! We pay for Netflix and can’t use it half the time so as well as totally unreliable WiFi we’re wasting money too!

Airband were fine on installation and are reasonably reliable BUT the minute anything goes wrong, they're hopeless. It always takes days to resolve and the communication is virtually non-existent. Lightning took out the airband mast serving my area at about 0300 on Friday - fair enough, that happens. However, over 2 days later and it's still not fixed and there is virtually no communication - what communication there is simply says "unfortunately there has been a delay resolving the issue". This service is only used by people with no alternative and, by definition, that means no mobile signal and probably no landline since that costs a fortune if it can only work as a phone line backup. The airband website says a fault was identified Saturday afternoon - that took nearly 2 days to find. What!? nearly 2 days to find and now at least another day to fix. The reality is airband know they have their customers over a barrel so they don't provide enough support resources and at weekends, it is particularly poor.

When the fibre service is good, it is very good, but more often than not, the network goes down. Airband run a monopoly in rural areas and don’t lift a finger for the first 5 days. 3rate service from a fourth rate business.

Internet seems to be slow in the evening barely able to load a film on tv.slightest wind and internet cuts out completely.

Absolutely useless. Now 4 days with no broadband and zero communication. Avoid Airband.

No connection for nearly 48 hours and no proper update. Utterly useless and devastating if running a business.

Airband are not affiliated with the Ofcom compulsory compensation scheme which provides compensation automatically after 2 days. Airband have a service level agreement of 5 days: This means that they do nothing to get your broadband working again in a timely manner. When your broadband fails for whatever reason customer service do not register your complaint when you call, you have to call again and again and again. When your issue is finally logged, hours have passed (8 in my case from finally getting through to customer services, 16 hours after fault actually occurred) so that effectively increases their SLA time to their advantage. The customer services are indifferent and robotic, sticking to a script which will involve sending you copies of their terms and conditions rather than showing any concern or empathy: The very worst kind of response. Then they will ignore you hoping either you or your issue or both will go away. For most customers Airband is not a choice, it is the only option so they don't bother trying to do anything over and above the minimum according to their terms and conditions. If there was a choice Airband would NOT be a consideration.

I had broadband installed last week but the network connection went down on Monday. Spent an hour trying get through to support and they sent someone out the same day to fault find. Had to ring up again yesterday to find out what’s happening and was told a cable was missing?????? They also said that they would try and get it working by the weekend. Not impressed!

We have the 4G broadband, which is OK for much of the time but sometimes hangs up. The engineer who came was excellent and it has improved. We are really keen to get fibre and hope Airband can sort this out as soon as possible.
