Easily the worst customer service experience I have ever received. I believed I was upgrading when I changed from Sky Broadband to Vodafone, but I was wrong!! contacted Vodafone technical support as I have older smart devices in my home which can only connect to 2.4GHz channels. I spent over 2 hours on the phone over when I was finally advised that they knew what the issue was and they would get it addressed and to contact them in a week to 10days. I gave them 2 weeks and contacted the technical support team again, only to be advised that the issue could not be addressed as there was no way of splitting the 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels. I then contacted customer support about cancelling my contract, to return to my old provider, only to be told that I was outside my 14 day cooling off period and would be charged £168.42 to cancel, despite me raising the issues within this time period. Absolutely disgusted.

The broadband package I have says up to 940 Mbps and guarantee around 455 Mbps. Even on WIFI I now get 650Mbps and the ethernet cable always seems to show over 900 Mbps everytime I have checked it. So very satisfactory. It is Fibre to home of course.

I foolishly renewed my contract with Vodafone broadband after promises of new booster and improved service, this was not the case Vodafone seem to blame the customer for problems at every turn and disbelieve me when I state that the speed is in single figures; the broadband regularly drops out and the wifi signal is now worse with the super 6 booster. I would not recommend Vodafone and I will be moving to another supplier once my contract nears its end

Avoid Vodafone unless you want your internet to drop every 10 minutes- sometimes 30 seconds. Their call centres are useless and will make you repeat steps every since time.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Vodafone broadband. The service was unreliable, with multiple instances where they cut my internet for days without any prior notification. One particular outage lasted three days, and when I called to report it, they casually informed me they were already aware—but hadn't bothered to notify customers. This wasn’t a one-time issue; outages were frequent, yet I was still charged the full monthly price with no deductions or compensation. While customer service was always apologetic, they sounded robotic—clearly used to dealing with complaints but not actually interested in making things right. To top it off, when I finally left for a more reliable provider, Vodafone hit me with an outrageous final bill of over £200. The entire experience felt like a cash grab with no regard for customer satisfaction. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable broadband provider

My address is the only one in my postcode area that doesn't have access to fibre broadband, and as such I only have a guaranteed speed of 2Mb/sec. That being the case the manager in the Vodafone shop suggested that their mobile internet router would be a solution. The staff in the local Vodafone shop are excellent, but every time I need to contact the Customer Service call centre they seem totally unable to carry out the most basic of tasks, such as setting up a direct debit, or honouring the agreed sale price for my mobile internet router, etc, and the only way for me to get the problem sorted is to go direct to the Chief Executive's office! I have had to go down this route three times in recent years, the Customer Service Call Centre is completely unfit for service!
