Home broadband deals in Carlisle
Most homes and businesses in the Carlisle area should have plenty of choices for providers. Almost all properties have access to broadband through an Openreach provider.
But if people want to speed things up and go for a full fibre service, over half have the option (either through Openreach or a smaller, altnet provider).

What is Openreach?
Openreach is the company that maintains the former British Telecom Network used for the majority of broadband and phone services. If a repair or installation is required, it’s Openreach who will send an engineer, not your provider.
More than 650 service providers using the Openreach network. That’s the majority of the UK’s broadband providers. This includes Sky, TalkTalk and BT. The exception to this is Virgin Media - it uses its own, separate cable network.
Virgin Media fibre is also available to around half of Carlisle properties, for ultrafast speeds of up to 1Gb.
One easy way to see what’s available for your own home is to enter your address into our deals checker.
You'll then see broadband deals that have been filtered by location, and only those providers offering service to your home will be displayed.
Don't forget, you can filter the table by factors such as broadband speed, cost and internet provider. You can also filter to show specific types of offers, such as free-setup broadband or unlimited internet.
